Project Description
GIZ Sanitation for Millions is a pivotal multi-donor program, initiated in 2016 with a clear goal: to facilitate safe and adequate access to sanitation worldwide. This comprehensive initiative meticulously considers every aspect of the sanitation chain, applying stringent sustainability criteria to ensure enduring impact.
Recognizing the diverse needs of marginalized communities, including children, women, girls, indigenous groups, refugees, internally displaced individuals, and persons with disabilities, the program prioritizes their inclusion and empowerment. In Uganda, Sanitation for Millions embarked on its journey in Kampala in 2017, swiftly expanding its reach to small towns in Northern Uganda by 2018.
Entrusted with the responsibility to capture the journey, milestones, and invaluable insights of this program, we undertook the task of documenting its progress in both written and visual formats. Through a meticulously crafted report and engaging videos, we aimed to shed light on the program's achievements, learnings, and best practices, amplifying its impact and inspiring further action in the realm of sanitation.
