DefendDefenders (East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Project) seeks to strengthen the work of human rights defenders (HRDs) throughout the East and Horn of Africa sub-region by reducing their vulnerability to the risk of persecution and by enhancing their capacity to effectively defend human rights. The organisation works in Burundi, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia/Somaliland, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
We were tasked to create a clinic system for IBU clinic, one of their Human Rights Organizations. The clinic had been using paper to record patient data. The system is a desktop app used by the hospital staff to add and record new patients, diagnosis and prescriptions.
